
APPENDIX E - Programming the Centrepiece
Lamp On/Off
1:
[shut]
When powering on the Centrepiece, the lamp itself will remain off
until a ’lamp on’ command is sent fro the controller. Press [shut]
once to ignite the lamp. The status of the display then changes to
{On--}, indicating that the lamp is now on. To enable light output the
tilt mirrors must be moved from the default position as described
below.

To switch the lamp back off again, keep the [shut] key pressed and
move the joystick upwards. The of the display changes to {OFF-},
indicating that lamp is now off. Please note that the Centrepiece
uses a cold restrike lamp, meaning that you must wait 5 to 10
minutes before you can power it back on again.
Tilt Mirrors
1:
[up]
Please note that the tilt mirrors are programmed in pairs placed on
opposite sides of the fixture - you cannot program just a single
mirror.
To program a movement start by moving the joystick up. The status
of the display now changes to {tYXX}, where Y is either 1, 2, 3, 4 or
A (A = All), indicating which mirror pair you are controlling, and XX
is a number between 01 and 99 to indicate the position of the
mirror.
2:
[↑]/[↓]
Press [↑]or[↓] to select which mirror set you want to program.
3:
[up]/
[down]
Move the joystick up or down to change the position of the mirrors.
You will see that the status of the display changes accordingly.
4:
[shut]
Press [shut] to quit the tilt movement mode. The status of the
display then changes to {On--}.
