Address selection
The address, also known as the start channel, is the first channel used to receive instructions from the controller. The
address set on the fixture must match the address set on the controller.
When selecting DMX addresses, be sure to allow the number of channels required for the protocol. If any of the con-
trol channels for one fixture overlap any of the channels for another fixture, then one of the fixtures will receive the
wrong instructions and respond incorrectly. Two MAC 300s may share the same address, however, if they are to
respond identically: they will receive the same instructions so individual control will be impossible.
Note: Whether the MAC 300 displays a DMX or Martin address at the top of the menu depends on the protocol
selected.
